It is owned and staffed by pet lovers who keep each dog or cat's wellbeing in mind, and the owners share their own home with 4 cats and 7 dogs. When they acquired the ranch in 2019, they began transforming it into the pet paradise they would want for their own pets. The facility has new communication systems for reservations and check-in, including report cards, and soothing music plays throughout. Outdoor yards feature agility equipment including ramps and tunnels, with more play equipment planned, and two outdoor play yards have been fitted with turf that is easy on canine paws and free of mud. Smaller guests have their own private lodging area, which has been remodeled and upgraded.

Springdale Pet Ranch of Grover Beach sits on Corbett Canyon Rd. Its 4.80 rating reflects the positive feedback of the customers who have reviewed it, and more than two decades of caring for pets on the Central Coast stand behind it.
