DTL Transport, Inc.

DTL Transport, Inc. is a trucking company in Fresno, CA. The company specializes in transporting perishable goods, primarily produce, hauling freight from the west coast to the east coast, including the northeast, Midwest, and southeast. With more than 35 years of experience, DTL Transport handles its customers' highest logistics needs and serves clients throughout the country. The company holds a rating of 4.00 based on publicly available customer reviews.

The company was founded in 1991 by Mr. Teja Singh, who came to the United States from India with a background in farming and chose Fresno because of its climate similarities to his home state of Punjab. After earning his Commercial Driver's License, he drove long haul for an uncle's Bakersfield-based trucking company, focusing on produce hauling. He recognized perishable freight as a niche that needed careful handling, bought his own truck, and became an owner operator. As colleagues and friends turned to him for dispatch help because of his bilingual abilities and communication skills, customers began contacting him directly. This demand led him to open a Fresno office and begin building the fleet. DTL Transport operates its dispatch, human resources, accounting, and maintenance and safety offices out of its location on North Golden State Boulevard.

The company sits on North Golden State Boulevard in northwest Fresno, about a third of a mile east of Golden State Highway and within walking distance of Furlong Field and the adjacent Dog Park. West Ashlan Avenue is roughly half a mile to the south.

DTL Transport has served the produce hauling industry for more than three decades, building its operations around the specific demands of temperature-sensitive freight across long distances. Its long tenure and focus on perishable cargo have made it a steady presence in Fresno's agricultural transportation sector.
