Donald P. Dick Air Conditioning

Donald P. Dick Air Conditioning is an HVAC contractor in Fresno, California. The company handles air conditioning repair and service, heating and cooling installation, solar-ready HVAC systems, and indoor air quality work, and it also offers a Home Performance appointment for homeowners looking to improve energy efficiency. Its technicians work on heat pumps and commercial air conditioning, and the company carries Lennox products as a Lennox Network Dealer. Founded in Fresno in 1970, it has served the area ever since and describes four generations of family operation. Service extends across Fresno and surrounding communities including Clovis, Madera, Sanger, Selma, Reedley, Hanford, Visalia, Tulare, Oakhurst, Coarsegold, Bass Lake, Shaver Lake and Millerton Lake. The company holds a rating of 4.80 from customer reviews.

The company's approach centers on diagnosing a problem on the spot and repairing it correctly the first time. It offers maintenance plans, including the Mr. Cool's Super Saver Program for annual maintenance, and inspects, cleans and calibrates systems to keep performance high and repairs low. When a unit's age, repair history and energy usage point to replacement, the company reviews those factors and recommends an upgrade. Financing is available for comfort upgrades without a large upfront cost, and the company also sells filters and memberships. On the solar side, it installs matched heat pumps or air conditioners alongside home solar energy systems, helps customers identify applicable rebates and tax credits, and notes that solar-ready models carry the ENERGY STAR designation. The company has won the Lennox Circle of Excellence Award. Office hours are 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday, with seasonal Saturday hours.

The business sits on North Whitney Avenue in Fresno, about a quarter mile from North Chestnut Avenue and East McKinley Avenue, and roughly a third of a mile from East Olive Avenue and Basin V Park. Ewing Elementary School is about half a mile away, and Senator Jim Costa Highway is about half a mile from the office.

Donald P. Dick Air Conditioning has built more than five decades of heating and cooling work in Fresno, and its 4.80 rating reflects how customers have received that work. For a city whose summers demand dependable cooling, that record is the company's strongest credential.
