Galleano Winery produces a classic aged tawny style port from the Cucamonga Valley. This Oloroso style port is aged for 20 years in American Oak. It has an amber-caramel color and warm brown sugar aromas. The palate opens with brown sugar, followed by pecans, figs, and a hint of spice. It has more international gold medals than any tawny port in America. The land was originally purchased in the 1920s by Colonel Esteban Cantu, who used the ranch for hunting, gardening, and wine production. The Galleano family maintains the historic charm of the site, which remains much the same as when it was purchased in 1927.
