Johansen Fence & Gate of Tucson

Johansen Fence & Gate of Tucson is a fence company in Tucson, Arizona. The company designs, fabricates, and installs custom metal fences, wrought iron gates, driveway gates, garden gates, metal side gates, railings, and plasma-cut privacy screens for homes and businesses, and it also builds access control systems with remote controls, automatic openers, and keypad entry. Its welders and fabricators handle steel and wrought iron work, and its fences are built to hold up in desert heat. The company has served Tucson for over 10 years and holds a rating of 4.90 from the customers who have reviewed it.

Every project is custom designed and fabricated rather than assembled from prefabricated parts, and each one is personally supervised by founder Cody Johansen. The company also builds trellises, planters, shade structures, metal sculpture, fountains, wall art, and handrails, and it can produce a CAD drawing so customers can see how a project will look before work begins. Most projects receive a line-itemed bid within 48 hours, and after a contract is accepted a fabricator returns to the site to confirm measurements. Materials are sourced from local companies, and crews use minimally invasive techniques and clear debris at the end of each day. Completed work includes projects for Customs and Border Protection in Nogales and SpaWell at El Conquistador Resort, and custom fences and gates have been transported as far as St. Louis.

The shop and office is at 8620 N Oracle Rd, on North Oracle Road, with a metal work display at The Garden Gate Design Center. The Victor Romero Rose Garden, Immaculate Heart Middle School, and the Oro Valley Aquatic Center are each about 0.8 miles away.

Johansen Fence & Gate holds ROC273009 and ROC349397 and is licensed, bonded, and insured. Customers describe the team as knowledgeable about materials, manufacturing, construction, and installation, and as meticulous, on time, and patient in answering questions.

For Tucson homeowners and businesses who want metalwork built to their own design rather than pulled from a catalog, Johansen Fence & Gate brings a decade of local fabrication experience to every gate, fence, and railing it installs.
