Gray Dog Music

Gray Dog Music is a music school and instrument shop in Prescott, Arizona. The shop buys, sells, repairs, and restores guitars, and offers music lessons for all skill levels. Its collection centers on unique guitars, including rare vintage models and one-of-a-kind finds, available both in-store and online. Recent arrivals have included new and used electric guitars, hollowbody and semi-hollow models, combo amps, and a concert ukulele, with brands such as Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, Marshall, Ibanez, and Schecter represented. Musicians looking to sell or trade can bring a guitar in to see whether it fits the collection. Gray Dog Music holds a rating of 4.70 from customer reviews.

The shop describes itself as curated by musicians, and its work spans the full life of an instrument: buying, selling, repairing, and restoring. That range runs from routine setups and repairs to restoration work on older instruments, alongside a lesson program open to beginners and experienced players alike. The inventory mixes new gear with used and vintage pieces, so a visitor can find a current-production amp next to a decades-old combo. Instruments can be purchased in person or through the online shop.
