Phoenix Preparatory Preschool & Child Care is a daycare in Phoenix, Arizona. It educates children from 5 weeks to 5 years old, and has done so since 2007. The culminating goal is to teach Pre-Kindergarten children to read Level One Books, write their first and last names, perform basic addition and subtraction, correctly form all upper and lowercase letters, and be polite, happy, and socially appropriate. Each age group has its own classroom, and there are 9 classrooms broken out by age and skill set. The focus is on educating children through teacher directed instruction, with a curriculum designed to give children an academic advantage that is child centered, fun and educational. Graduates average a year ahead of their peers academically and socially, and go on to attend Madison District Schools, St Francis, Basis and Phoenix Day School for Kindergarten. Recess is a fundamental part of the day, both morning and afternoon when weather permits, with outdoor time when it is above 50 and below 100 degrees. As a foundation, the school believes children with cognition should have consequences for their actions and apologize when they hurt or are disrespectful.

Teachers are highly trained with an average of five years experience teaching in child care facilities. They all hold a valid fingerprint clearance, a current negative TB test, and are background checked. Margot Magnum has been the Owner and Director since opening in January of 2007. She holds a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance Management, taught in public schools for ten years, and was nominated Arizona Teacher of the Year for the academic year of 1998-1999.

The school sits on West Osborn Road, about a tenth of a mile from Phoenix College Osborn Location and North 7th Avenue. Clarendon School is about two tenths of a mile away, as is the Amphitheatre.
