Grand Avenue Tattoo & Piercings

Grand Avenue Tattoo & Piercings is a Tattoo Shop in Phoenix, AZ, located at 1502 W Camelback Rd Suite 1. The studio specializes in custom-only tattoo work and fine-jewelry piercing, serving clients through nine resident artists. The shop welcomes walk-ins daily from 12 PM to 8 PM, though larger custom pieces typically begin with a free consultation. It holds a rating of 4.90 based on 3,400+ Google reviews.

The studio operates on a custom-only philosophy, refusing to pull designs from flash and instead matching clients with the resident artist whose style best fits their concept. Services include black & grey portraits and realism, color realism for medium to large placements, traditional and neo-traditional work with bold lines, fine line single-needle pieces, and illustrative work. Cover-ups and large-scale redesigns are assessed in person before quoting. Piercing services use implant-grade titanium and 14k gold for ear lobes, helix, daith, tragus, rook, septum, and nostril placements.

The team includes resident artists Sely, Dasc Tats, Mike Wayne, Mari Burkhalter, Jennifer Flores, and NiL8Tattoos. The process begins with a thirty-minute, no-obligation consultation where clients bring references or concepts to sketch and refine with their artist. Aftercare support is included with every tattoo. The studio has been open since 2017 and maintains seven-day-a-week hours.

The business is known for its positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it, with clients noting the professional and sterile environment and the artists’ willingness to discuss options rather than rush the work.
