The company traces its origins to 1985, when Sunn West City’s Auto Body opened as the first auto body shop in Surprise, AZ, servicing the West Valley. Founders Patrick and Cynthia Gray established a family-owned operation built on treating customers like family and every vehicle as if it matters. The business has since grown into a four-location group while remaining under the same ownership. Technicians across the shops are I-CAR Gold Class and ASE certified, with ongoing training in the latest repair techniques and manufacturer standards. The team includes estimators and specialists in paint and color matching, using PPG Envirobase High-Performance paint systems and computerized color matching technology to ensure precise finishes.

SWC Auto Body offers a range of services designed to reduce customer stress, including free estimates, rental car concierge assistance, and coordination with trusted towing services. The shops operate as boutique-style facilities rather than high-volume factories, emphasizing personal attention and transparent communication. Customers can drop off vehicles after hours using a secure key drop system. The business works with all major insurance providers to streamline the repair process. Additional services include complete body and frame repairs, glass repair and replacement, bumper repair, and auto detailing.

The business is recognized for its positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting the trust it has earned over four decades of service in Arizona.

SWC Auto Body combines decades of family-owned craftsmanship with certified expertise to restore vehicles for Mesa drivers and the surrounding Arizona communities.

The business is situated on East Southern Avenue in Mesa, AZ, approximately a tenth of a mile from the Maximum Health & Wellness Center and a third of a mile from Aripine Park.
