Linwood Animal Hospital

Linwood Animal Hospital is a veterinarian in Paragould, Arkansas. The practice offers full-service companion animal veterinary care for cats and dogs, including surgery, preventative medicine, dentistry, internal medicine consults, radiology, electrocardiography, and anesthesia. Services extend from routine physical examinations and vaccination checkups to surgical and diagnostic procedures, supported by a fully stocked in-house pharmacy and an in-clinic diagnostic laboratory that uses digital radiology. The hospital holds a rating of 4.80.

Linwood Animal Hospital was established in 2009 by Dr. Brent Reddick to provide compassionate care for pets and their owners, with an emphasis on communication and client education as the foundation of a long, healthy relationship with each animal. Dr. Chelsea Dowler joined the practice in August 2014, allowing the hospital to expand its capacity to serve clients in Paragould and the surrounding areas. Dr. Dowler grew up on a family farm in the Beech Grove and Stanford community of Greene County, graduated from Delaplaine High School, earned a degree in Animal Science from Arkansas State University, and completed her veterinary degree at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. The team emphasizes thorough annual physical examinations because of the shorter lifespan of companion animals, and the practice also maintains a video library of pet health resources covering topics such as ear and eye medication, allergies, algae warnings, anesthesia, and dental care.

The hospital sits on Linwood Drive, near its junction with West Kings Highway and West Court Street. The Greene County Museum Inc. is about a fifth of a mile away, and a PostNet location is roughly a third of a mile from the practice.

The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is closed on weekends, with appointments available by phone at 870-236-7778.

Serving Greene County since 2009, Linwood Animal Hospital combines local roots with a broad range of medical and surgical services for the cats and dogs of Paragould and the surrounding communities.
