The founder, Karlesha Springs, began her career as a 4th-grade teacher in her own neighborhood, where she observed that many students were not being supported in ways that honored their potential. A pivotal moment in her journey involved tutoring a 5th grader who was reading at a 3rd-grade level, which shifted her perspective on student support. After years leading transformation plans in schools and working with ESL learners and vulnerable student populations, she founded Team Springs to extend that impact beyond school walls. The business started with humble beginnings, tutoring through community centers and relying on word-of-mouth referrals. Over time, the practice expanded its offerings and moved into virtual spaces, building relationships with families who trust the team to guide their students toward academic success. The approach emphasizes that connection is just as important as curriculum, aiming to transform K-12 potential into measurable academic growth.

The location is situated on Government Blvd, approximately a tenth of a mile from the main road itself.
