Owner-operated by Bryan Moore, AlaTex began as a sprinkler repair business and grew into a multi-crew residential and commercial operation. Moore brought a background in corporate operations and supply management to the company, and that operational discipline shapes how each account is run today. The business is fully licensed and insured and runs grounds-maintenance contracts, commercial irrigation, and property-management accounts, scaling from a single work truck to a full fleet while retaining the accountability that earned its first clients. National brands including Chick-fil-A are among its commercial accounts. Commercial offerings include scheduled mowing, edging, pruning, mulch, and seasonal color on year-round contracts, large-scale irrigation design, installation, repair, and smart-controller management, hardscape construction including paver patios, walkways, fire features, and seating walls, engineered segmental, boulder, and poured-in-place retaining walls with built-in drainage, French drains, regrading, and catch basins, and low-voltage landscape and architectural lighting.

The office sits on Macon Circle, about a mile from Northport City Hall, the Northport Post Office, Northwood Lake, and the Kentuck Museum, and just over a mile from McFarland Boulevard.

With a 4.70 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, AlaTex Landscaping & Irrigation has built a reputation for accountability and operational rigor that property managers and facilities directors across the Birmingham and West Alabama corridor rely on for grounds maintenance, irrigation, and full property-management landscaping.
