Azalea City Center for the Arts of Mobile

Azalea City Center for the Arts of Mobile is a music school in Mobile, Alabama. It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for children and adults to explore artistic expression, take part in intensive training in the arts, and perform before live audiences. Its programs cover music, theater, dance, gymnastics, after school programming, and activities for children and adults of all abilities, along with recitals and other performance opportunities. Instruction is offered in music and voice, including piano and voice lessons, drama classes, and dance. The Center holds a rating of 4.70 from the customers who have reviewed it.

The Center was established in 2012 as an umbrella organization bringing instructors, programs, and other arts enterprises together under one roof. It was founded by Chris Paragone of Sunny Side Theater and Daniel Driskell of Full Scale School of Music to make art education in a variety of subjects more accessible to the Mobile community. Three resident programs operate at the Center, and other local groups and individuals contract space as needed. The shared arrangement lets the programs coordinate activities and pool resources, creating an environment that is convenient for patrons. Sunny Side's Competition Team performed at the Saenger Theater as an opening act for Disney's Dcapella Group in 2019.

The Center sits on Midtown Park East, about 0.2 miles from Dauphin Street and roughly 0.1 miles from Azalea City Montessori. Primrose Park is about 0.4 miles away, as is Old Shell Road Magnet School, and Eslava Creek runs within about half a mile.

Since 2012, the Center has served as a gathering point for arts education in Mobile, uniting music, theater, dance, and gymnastics programs for children and adults under one roof.
