Doster Construction Company

Doster Construction Company is a construction company in Birmingham, AL, founded in 1969 by Thomas E. Doster, III. The firm provides general contracting, construction management, and design build services to clients in the commercial, educational, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, multifamily, and senior living markets. More than fifty years after opening, Doster has completed over 4,300 projects spanning 33 states for some of the country's leading companies. In addition to its Birmingham headquarters, the company maintains offices in Huntsville, Alabama and Franklin, Tennessee.

The firm approaches each project with an emphasis on early planning, critical thinking, and open communication, and its culture values collaboration and accountability alongside technical execution. Doster delivers construction management services in two ways, acting as an agent representing the owner's interests or working at risk with greater budget responsibility. The company has been recognized as a Top Healthcare Contractor Nationwide, broke ground on a Sports Illustrated Resorts destination in Tuscaloosa, and recently marked the grand opening of a new emergency room at Laredo Medical Center. Recent projects also include a medical tower expansion for Colquitt Regional in Moultrie, Georgia. Doster carries a rating of 4.70.

The Birmingham office sits on International Park Drive, roughly two-tenths of a mile from the John M. Harbert III Freeway and about half a mile from International Park Lake. Altadena Valley Park, Altadena Woods, Hickory Ridge Estates, and Rocky Ridge Elementary School are all within roughly eight-tenths of a mile.

Locally rooted in Birmingham since 1969 and now executing projects across more than thirty states, Doster Construction Company draws on more than four thousand completed builds to serve clients nationwide.
