Bartlett Orthopedic Specialists

Bartlett Orthopedic Specialists is a medical clinic in Juneau, Alaska. The clinic diagnoses, treats and operates on musculoskeletal issues, and its surgeons and specialists are specialty-trained in their respective fields, having received advanced instruction that allows the team to offer care ranging from nonsurgical treatment to advanced surgical procedures. The clinic treats adults and pediatric patients, with knee care that includes meniscus repairs, ACL reconstruction, multifilament knee reconstruction, and total and partial knee replacement, and shoulder care that includes rotator cuff tears and fractures. Care extends to sports injuries, recovery from surgery, and chronic joint pain, and the team also addresses the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions.

Each patient's care plan is developed individually. The clinic evaluates a condition thoroughly, discusses treatment options, and builds a plan that aligns with the patient's goals, supported by staff who work alongside the orthopedic team. Bartlett Orthopedic Specialists operates as one of the specialty outpatient clinics of Bartlett Regional Hospital, which traces its origins to St. Ann's Hospital, opened in 1886 and run by the Sisters of St. Ann until the 1960s, when operations passed to the City and Borough of Juneau and a new facility was built on Hospital Drive. The hospital serves a 15,000-square-mile region across the northern part of Southeast Alaska, home to roughly 55,000 people.

The clinic sits on Hospital Drive, about a tenth of a mile from Egan Drive and a short walk from Twin Lakes Park. The Alaska Department of Transportation office is roughly two-tenths of a mile away, and Bartlett Regional Hospital is about half a mile from the clinic.
