After the structure was washed down the Chena River by floodwaters in 1967, Pike rebuilt the log structure in 1969. The restaurant was sold to Don Pruhs in 1979, who operated it during the pipeline days. Guy and Lillian Kasnick purchased the property in 1985, creating the fine dining room and adding a 400-seat outdoor patio and atrium. Jay Ramras, the current owner, bought the property in 1999 and opened Pike's Waterfront Lodge a year later with 180 rooms. In the following years, the property expanded to include 28 cabins made from Nenana spruce logs, the Binkley Room restaurant, the Captain's Lounge, and meeting spaces. The team includes Elizabeth Griswold as General Manager, Michelle Davis as Chief Operations Officer, Ursula Gottschling as Catering and Food Services Director, Jay Ramras as Owner, and Sunshine Walker as Controller.
