It holds a rating of 4.70 from the customers who have reviewed it. The school teaches Krav Maga, the self defense system developed in Israel and used as the official hand-to-hand combat system of the Israeli Defense Forces and other Israeli military units. Krav Maga Worldwide, with which the school is affiliated, offers exclusive training to sworn law enforcement and military personnel through its Force Training Division, adapting Krav Maga for American law enforcement with techniques developed with input from use-of-force experts and led by seasoned law enforcement professionals. The division supports instructors in the military, law enforcement, and security sectors. The curriculum traces its lineage to Imi Lichtenfeld, the founder of Krav Maga. Darren Levine was among the first Americans invited to train directly under Imi in Israel in 1981, and over years of mentorship absorbed the governing principles and architectural integrity of the system. Imi awarded Darren one of only two Founder's Diplomas before his passing in 1998. Darren founded the Krav Maga Association of America and later Krav Maga Worldwide to keep the system from fragmenting as it expanded, and under his leadership Krav Maga in the United States maintained a direct and disciplined connection to its origins. The curriculum taught to licensed and certified instructors includes techniques, training drills, and instructional materials that continue to evolve, guided by the standard of old school grind and new world concepts. For students in Elmendorf Afb, the school brings that lineage and law enforcement and military training background to a local martial arts program.
